Ajmer-based YouTuber Dilraj Singh, known online as Mr. Indian Hacker, has received serious threats. A message sent to him used the name of gangster Lawrence to scare him.
Dilraj is very popular on social media and has over 60 million followers on different platforms.
The threat was sent to him on June 23. In the message, the sender demanded ₹80 lakh to be paid in Bitcoin.
Dilraj went to the police and filed a complaint at the Adarsh Nagar police station on Wednesday, June 25.
Email states - We have been monitoring for a month City ASP Himanshu Jangid said that Dilraj has an account on YouTube under the name Mr. Indian Hacker.
The victim reported that on June 23, he received a threatening email in Lawrence's name.
It demands 80 lakh Bitcoin. The email also stated that they have been surveilling him for a month. If police are informed about this, be prepared to face the consequences.
The victim said that this email also contained threats to harm his family members and team members.
